Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj told what is the condition of a devotee immersed in love? Know the secret that will change your life
Premanand Maharaj Love Meaning: When a devotee asked Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj, My dear souls, today you ask me what is the condition of a devotee immersed in love? The answer to this question is very deep in itself. The truth is that love is an experience that cannot be fully expressed in words.
It is an inner essence, which can be felt only by the one in whose heart it awakens. No matter how much we try to understand from outside, the reality of love is much deeper than that.
How is love born?
Love does not come automatically, rather it is awakened by the grace of Guru and Acharya. When a seeker is continuously engrossed in chanting the name, studying the scriptures, listening to stories and chanting kirtan, then the sprout of love sprouts in his heart. Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj says, “When the flow of love goes on, then the devotee, after saluting both the folk tradition and the Vedic tradition, becomes engrossed in the thoughts of his beloved only.” In this state, the external activities of the devotee continue, but from within he is completely immersed in his Lord.
What is the identity of a loving devotee?
The symptoms of a person in whom love is awakened are clearly visible:
- Stream of tears: Tears flow continuously from his eyes and the name of the Lord remains on his lips all the time.
- Distance from the world: He neither likes food, nor sleep, nor is he interested in worldly matters.
- Silence and Solitude: He speaks less, stays away from people and remains absorbed only in the attention of his idol.
For him all the matters of the world become ‘salty’ i.e. bitter.
Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj told about complete dedication of the mind.
The ultimate state of love comes when the devotee surrenders his mind completely to God. “Uddhav mind nahi ten twenty ” The meaning of this statement is that the lover has only one mind, which he offers to his Lord. After this he has nothing left. He neither listens to anyone nor explains to anyone, he just remains lost in the sweetness of his deity day and night.
out of body state
A loving devotee may look normal on the outside, but on the inside he is completely alone. He remains engrossed in the play, form and name of his beloved. His condition is so deep and supernatural that it is almost impossible to express it in words. Wherever he lives, his mind always remains in the abode of God.
