Sanjay Singh’s first reaction on the removal of Raghav Chadha from the post of Rajya Sabha Deputy Leader.
Raghav Chadha was removed from the post of Rajya Sabha Deputy Leader by Aam Aadmi Party. In his place, the party has given the responsibility of this post to Ashok Mittal. Sanjay Singh’s reaction has come to light on this decision of the party. When the media questioned Sanjay Singh about this, he said that whatever had to be told has been told to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat has been informed about the party’s decision.
If sources are to be believed, Aam Aadmi Party has mentioned in a letter to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat that Raghav Chadha should not be allotted time to speak in Parliament. Along with this, AAP has requested the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to appoint MP Ashok Kumar Mittal as the deputy leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha in place of MP Raghav Chadha.
Responding to this change, Ashok Kumar Mittal said, “Change in the party is a continuous process. First ND Gupta was the deputy leader, then Raghav ji took over and now I have been given this responsibility. Tomorrow someone else may get this opportunity. The party wants every MP and leader to learn and gain experience from different roles.”
Let us tell you that at present there are a total of 10 MPs of Aam Aadmi Party in Rajya Sabha. Of these, seven are from Punjab and three from Delhi. Ashok Kumar Mittal and Raghav Chadha are also Rajya Sabha MPs from Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party has taken this decision at a time when Raghav Chadha is maintaining ‘silence’ on party related issues. He is not visible even in the programs of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. There was a time when he was counted among those closest to Kejriwal. But the situation has changed in the last few months.
