Sunrisers Hyderabad won against KKR by 65 runs

IPL: The sixth match of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. In this match, complete dominance of Sunrisers Hyderabad was seen in which they won the match by 65 runs and also opened their account of victory in this season. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders team captain Ajinkya Rahane had decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Sunrisers Hyderabad team, batting first in this match, scored 226 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. While batting for Hyderabad, Heinrich Klaasen scored an inning of 52 runs while Abhishek Sharma scored 48 runs while Travis Head scored 46 runs. In bowling for KKR, Blessing Muzarabani took the maximum of 4 wickets, while Vaibhav Arora took 2 wickets while Karthik Tyagi and Anukul Roy took 1 wicket each.

When the Kolkata Knight Riders team came out to chase the target, it did not have a good start and they lost their first wicket in the form of Finn Allen at the score of 30. From here a small partnership of 37 runs was seen between Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Rahane returned to the pavilion after playing an inning of 8 runs in this match. Raghuvanshi was seen trying to control KKR’s innings from one end, in which an inning of 52 runs was seen with his bat.

A big innings was expected from Rinku Singh in this match, but he also lost his wicket at a crucial time on a personal score of 35. In this match, KKR team was limited to a score of 161 runs in 16 overs and had to face its second consecutive defeat. In bowling for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jaydev Unadkat took the maximum of three wickets, while Ishan Malinga and Nitish Reddy took 2 wickets each. Apart from this, Harsh Dubey also managed to take one wicket.
