Anger in BJP after the brutality against the girl in Hazaribagh, announcement of Jharkhand bandh

The painful incident of rape and murder of an innocent girl in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand has shocked the entire state. The political atmosphere has also heated up regarding this matter. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced to launch a statewide movement against this incident. The party has announced to take out a torch procession on April 2 and call a Jharkhand bandh on April 3.

What did State President Aditya Sahu say?

In an important meeting held in Adityapur, BJP leaders described this incident as extremely serious and said that a big question has arisen regarding the safety of women and girls in the state. State President Aditya Sahu said that this incident that took place in Vishnugarh area is very horrifying and has caused anger and resentment in the entire state. He made it clear that BJP will not remain silent on this issue and will continue the struggle from the streets to the administrative level.

While sharing the outline of the movement, State Minister Shailendra Singh said that torch processions will be taken out in all the districts and block headquarters of the state on April 2. Jharkhand bandh has been called the next day on 3rd April. He claims that this bandh will get widespread support from the public and it will prove to be a big mass movement.

To make this movement effective, BJP has prepared a detailed strategy by meeting with the district presidents of all 30 districts. Party workers have been assigned different responsibilities, so that the impact of the movement is visible in every part of the state. The leaders also said that their protest will continue until the culprits are given strict punishment.

BJP’s sharp attack on the state government

BJP has also launched a scathing attack on the state government regarding this matter. Party leaders allege that after the incident, a Congress minister giving financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to the victim’s family is an example of insensitivity. He says that such help cannot reduce the pain of the family and it is just a formality.

The leaders also expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state and said that crimes against women are continuously increasing. He demanded strict action from the government and immediate action against the culprits.

At the same time, the investigation of the case is going on from the administration and action is being taken to arrest the accused. BJP says that their movement will not be limited to just this one incident, but will continue till they ensure the safety of women in the state. This issue may take a more serious form in the coming times.
