Amid uncertainty in global markets, crypto markets have seen stability in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin is trading slightly higher at around $67,960, while Ethereum is holding firm near $2,100. Major cryptocurrencies have maintained significant levels, indicating market strength. The crypto market was not spared from Thursday’s (April 2) decline. It has fallen more than 3% in the last 24 hours. The world’s major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, also fell by more than 6%. This fall in the crypto market is being linked to the statement of Donald Trump, in which he said that he will launch a major attack on Iran in 2-3 weeks.
As of 12:30 PM on April 1, 2026, the global crypto market cap was $2.38 trillion. At 12:30 PM today, it was down roughly 3.30% to $2.30 trillion. This represents a drop of $0.08 trillion (approximately ₹7.45 lakh crore) in 24 hours. Fear and Greed Index has come down to 28. Yesterday, Wednesday, it was at 32.

Bitcoin fell more than 3%
Bitcoin, the world’s most expensive and popular cryptocurrency, fell more than 3%. The drop brought its price to around $66,630. With few exceptions over the past month, the price of Bitcoin has remained below $70,000. This price is well below its all-time high (around $125,000).

Not only Bitcoin, but many other cryptos have seen significant declines in the last 24 hours. These statistics are as follows:
