Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that after the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, Indian troops had brought Pakistan to its knees in just 22 minutes during Operation Sindoor. This was the largest ever operation against terrorism in Indian military history. He announced that Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Singh said that this operation has not stopped yet. If any mischief is done from across the border, not only will it be given a befitting reply but unprecedented action will also be taken. The Defense Minister further accused the Congress-led UPA government of failing to take decisive action against terrorist acts targeting India. He alleged that their response was limited to sending voluminous files to the criminals and not giving any concrete response. Singh said that if I talk only about terrorism here, you will remember how the situation was when the Congress-led UPA government was in power. Every day there used to be some terrorist incident in some part of the country. There were news of bomb blasts in cities. What was the government’s reaction at that time? Huge files were handed over, on which no action was taken. Referring to the 2016 surgical strikes after the Uri attack and the recent Operation Sindoor, the Defense Minister said the government has dealt a huge blow to terrorism.

Talking on the West Asia crisis, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the government is fully prepared to handle the ongoing situation in the Middle East. He assured the public that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel in the country and confirmed that the Indian Navy is actively engaged in monitoring the area and ensuring the safety of the people there. Singh further said that we are fully prepared to deal with the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Some people are spreading lies and creating confusion. PM Narendra Modi is protecting the interests of the Indians present there. The situation in West Asia is not normal at all. Many people from Kerala live there, but the government is keeping a close eye on the situation. We are fully prepared to deal with any emergency.
