Indian Navy was minutes away from attacking Pakistan in Operation Sindoor, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi’s big revelation”
digital desk- Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K during the Naval Investiture Ceremony held in Mumbai. Tripathi made a big and shocking revelation. He told that during ‘Operation Sindoor’ the Indian Navy had come very close to attacking Pakistan through the sea route. The situation had become so serious that only a few minutes were left for the attack to begin, but at that very moment a request came from Pakistan to stop the military action. Admiral Tripathi clarified that this was no longer confidential information and could be made public now that the Indian Navy was fully prepared. He said that during the operation, naval units deployed rapidly and maintained a very aggressive stance. This operation is a clear example of the readiness, capability and determination of the Indian Navy, which further strengthened the confidence of the country.
Two officers were honored with Yudh Seva Medal
On this occasion, two senior naval officers who rendered outstanding service during Operation Sindoor were also awarded ‘Yudh Seva Medal’. This honor was given to officers who displayed exceptional leadership and courage in challenging circumstances. In his address, Admiral Tripathi also expressed concern over the global security situation. Referring to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, he said that the situation on an important sea route like the Strait of Hormuz has become extremely tense. Due to the increasing conflict between America, Israel and Iran, more than 20 merchant ships have been attacked in the region, which has seriously affected international trade. He said that due to this crisis, about 1,900 ships are stranded and there has been a huge decline in the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier about 130 ships used to pass through this route every day, now this number has come down to just 6-7. This situation can become a major threat to the global economy and supply chain.
Navy Chief said these things
The Navy Chief also said that in modern times, the seas are no longer just an auxiliary battlefield, but have become the main platform for displaying strategic power. He said that changing technology and tactics have completely changed the nature of war, making it more complex to deal with non-traditional threats. Admiral Tripathi also highlighted the growing strength of the Indian Navy. He said that in the last one year, 12 new warships and submarines have been inducted into the Navy, which will further strengthen the maritime security of the country.
