Driving on four expressways of Uttar Pradesh becomes expensive, toll increased

Lucknow. Drivers traveling on four major expressways running in Uttar Pradesh will now have to pay new toll rates. In the revised toll rate released for the year 2026-27, the rates for all categories of vehicles have been increased. This information has been given in the official press release of UPEDA on Thursday. If we talk about increase compared to last year, this rate is only around two percent.

Now new rates of one trip toll will be applicable for traveling the entire route (from first toll to last toll) on Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway. These rates have been made effective from April 1, 2026.

UPEDA spokesperson said that the government has increased these rates as compared to last year, which has been decided keeping in mind the inflation and rising cost of maintenance. Lakhs of drivers, traders and passengers using these expressways will be directly affected by these new rates.

The new toll rates are as follows-

two wheeler, three wheeler, tractor

Rs 335 on Agra-Lucknow Expressway

Rs 350 on Purvanchal Expressway

Rs 315 on Bundelkhand Expressway

Rs 145 on Gorakhpur Link Expressway

for motor vehicles

Rs 675 on Agra-Lucknow, Rs 700 on Purvanchal, Rs 635 on Bundelkhand and Rs 295 on Gorakhpur.

Light commercial vehicles, light goods vehicles and mini buses

You will have to pay Rs 1065 on Agra-Lucknow, Rs 1105 on Purvanchal, Rs 1000 on Bundelkhand and Rs 440 on Gorakhpur.

for bus and truck

Rs 2150 on Agra-Lucknow, Rs 2240 on Purvanchal, Rs 2025 on Bundelkhand and Rs 845 on Gorakhpur.

For heavy construction machines, earth moving equipment and multi-axle vehicles with 3 to 6 axles

Rs 3290 on Agra-Lucknow, Rs 3430 on Purvanchal, Rs 3100 on Bundelkhand and Rs 1345 on Gorakhpur.

Oversized vehicles with 7 or more axles will have to pay the highest toll.

Rs 4230 on Agra-Lucknow, Rs 4400 on Purvanchal, Rs 3980 on Bundelkhand and Rs 1755 on Gorakhpur.
