Gold-Silver Price: Gold and silver became cheaper on Good Friday, gold fell by Rs 3500, silver slipped by Rs 9000.

Gold-Silver Price Today 3 April 2026: On the occasion of Good Friday, there was a fall in the prices of gold and silver in the country. On the morning of April 3, the price of 24 carat gold in the capital Delhi stood at Rs 1,49,110 per 10 grams, while in Mumbai the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 1,48,960 per 10 grams. A day earlier, the price of 24 carat gold had fallen by Rs 3,500 or 2.26 percent in Delhi’s bullion market, which was now at Rs 1,51,500 per 10 grams.

Condition of international gold-silver market

The spot gold price in the international market is at $ 4,591.52 per ounce. Experts believe that US President Donald Trump’s warning that Iran can be attacked strongly in the next two-three weeks has caused a surge in crude oil prices. The dollar has also strengthened by 0.5 percent and reached the level of 99-100, due to which there has been increased pressure on the prices of precious metals in foreign trade.

Silver price continues to fall

There has also been a decline in the price of silver. On the morning of April 3, the price of silver came to Rs 2,49,900 per kg. In Delhi’s bullion market, the price of silver had fallen by Rs 9,000 or 3.66 percent last day and stood at Rs 2,37,000 per kg. The spot price of silver in the international market is $69.57 an ounce.

Especially in January 2026, the price of silver had crossed the mark of Rs 4 lakh per kg. The main reason for this decline is believed to be global tension and change in direction of investors due to the strengthening of the dollar.
