Iran’s big claim: America’s second F-35 shot down on the 35th day of the war

Iran crisis: A big claim has come to light amid the Iran-America war. Iran has said that it has shot down America’s second F-35 fighter plane. This claim has come at a time when tension in the Middle East is continuously increasing and the situation seems to be becoming more serious.

F-35 shot down in central Iran

Another US F-35 jet was targeted over central Iran, according to the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters spokesman of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He claimed that the IRGC’s new air-defense system tracked and shot down this 5th generation stealth fighter.

World’s most advanced fighter jet

F-35 Lightning II is counted among the most advanced stealth fighter jets in the world. Its price is said to be around 100 million dollars (about Rs 850 crore). Iran says its indigenous air-defense technology is now capable of identifying and destroying even this ‘invisible’ jet.

Video of the attack also released

Iranian media has also released a video of the attack, in which a missile is seen moving towards a jet flying in the sky. The IRGC has called it a major success of its new air-defense technology. However, no official confirmation of this claim has been made by America yet.

America’s increased concern

Even before this, there was news of an attack on an F-35, in which it had to make an emergency landing. Now the claim of shooting down the second jet has increased America’s concern. US President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have already given a strong warning to Iran.

Fear of changing direction of war

Experts believe that if Iran is indeed successful in shooting down advanced jets like the F-35, it could change the direction of the entire regional conflict. Iran claims that its air-defense system is now fully prepared to give a befitting reply to American and Israeli air strikes.
