Who is Aparajita Puri?
Aparajita Puri is originally from Delhi and currently lives in Gurugram. He has studied from prestigious institutions in the country and abroad. She graduated in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, where she also served as the Vice President of Placement Cell. After this he did MBA in Finance from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. He further studied Public Policy from Oxford University.
How Aparajita Puri’s career started
Aparajita Puri has worked as the Chief of Staff at Microsoft before becoming the Managing Director. During this period, he played an important role in formulating the company’s strategy along with India and South Asia President Puneet Chandhok. He has good experience in marketing, sales and strategy. He started his career as an Associate in McKinsey & Company in the year 2014 and gradually progressed to take on many big responsibilities.
What responsibilities will you handle at Microsoft?
As Managing Director, Aparajita Puri’s main focus will be on growing Microsoft’s cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) business. Given the rapid digital transformation taking place in India, she will work closely with the government and private companies. Their goal will be to make Microsoft’s modern technology and services easily accessible to even the smallest businesses.

Regarding his new role, he said that today technology and business are changing rapidly and this is a great time to learn.
