Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja, welcomed their second child, a baby boy. The couple recently shared the news with fans through a heartfelt social media announcement, revealing that their son was born on March 29, 2026.
On Friday, April 3, Sonam took to her Instagram and shared a photo with her newborn son. The photo is from the hospital. In the picture, the actor is seen lovingly cradling him in her arms.
Along with the picture, she expressed gratitude to the doctors and staff at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, where she delivered her baby.
Thanking the hospital team, Sonam wrote, “Thank you to HN Reliance Hospital for the most incredible experience as we welcomed our second son into the world. It has truly been exceptional in every way.”
She further praised the staff for their professionalism and compassion during the experience. Sonam added, “To the entire team, thank you for being such thorough professionals and for going beyond that with your gentleness, empathy, and genuine care. It’s not always something one expects in a hospital, but it absolutely should be, and it made this experience so meaningful.”
Sonam also thanked Nita Ambani for creating a nurturing environment at the hospital. She concluded her message by writing, “It’s truly remarkable what Nita Aunty has created, a space where excellence and compassion exist so seamlessly together. Feeling deeply grateful, cared for, and blessed Grateful for the incredible team who cared for us.”

Earlier, on Sunday, Sonam had taken to Instagram to announce the birth of their second child through an artistic announcement card featuring a serene illustration.
The note shared by the couple read, “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy on the 29th of March 2026.”
The message also spoke about how their family has grown with the baby’s arrival. It added, “Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way. Vayu is overjoyed to welcome his little brother, and we feel deeply blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with happiness and grace.”
Sonam and Anand tied the knot in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, in 2022. With the birth of their second son, the family of three has now become four, bringing even more joy to their home.
