Stock Market Holiday: Due to Good Friday, there will be no trading on both Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday (April 3). Since after this weekend Saturday and Sunday are coming, the market will remain closed for three consecutive days. Good Friday is an important day in Christianity. For this reason, it is celebrated as a public holiday in many parts of India, and markets remain closed.

Like the stock market, trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also remain suspended. The exchange will remain closed during both morning and evening trading sessions.

In November, the market will be closed on Tuesday, November 10 for Diwali-Balipratipada and on Tuesday, November 24 for Guru Nanak Jayanti. At the end of the year, the stock market will be closed on Friday, December 25 for Christmas. Therefore, investors should keep these dates in mind throughout the year considering these different opportunities.
