Hyundai Boulder: South Korean automobile company Hyundai has recently introduced its new concept off-road SUV Hyundai Boulder. This SUV has been specially designed for better performance on rough and difficult roads. Currently, it has been showcased for the US market, but the company has already indicated that work is going on on a powerful off-road vehicle for India as well.
Strong design and sturdy construction
The design of Hyundai Boulder is completely boxy and muscular, which gives it the look of a true off-road SUV. Its design is based on a strong platform, so that it can move easily in rough and hilly areas. Its styling seems largely inspired by popular off-roaders like Mahindra Thar.
The SUV has been given high ground clearance, due to which it can easily move on stones, potholes and bad roads without getting stuck.
Features and Interior
Hyundai has made the interior of Boulder practical and user-friendly. It also has physical buttons along with touchscreen infotainment system, which are more convenient during off-roading.
Additionally, it is expected to get a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system, which will provide better control and grip on difficult roads, mud and hilly tracks. This feature can make it a strong off-road performer.
Launch and competition in India
At present Hyundai has not made any official announcement regarding its launch in India. However, it is expected that the company can introduce it in the Indian market soon. If this SUV comes to India, it will compete directly with off-road SUVs like Mahindra Thar Roxx. Hyundai Boulder has emerged as a stylish, strong and off-roading ready SUV, which can create a new stir in the market in the coming times.
