The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai celebrated a major milestone on April 3, 2026marking three years of “Culture at the Centre.” Founder and Chairperson Nita Ambani led the festivities with a powerful speech that drew on the spiritual significance of the number three in Indian heritage.

Addressing a star-studded audience that included Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh, she drew parallels between the centre’s three-year journey and sacred trios like the Trine (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh) and the Triveni Sangam of the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. “When we started, we made a promise to bring the best of India to the world and the best of the world to India,” she remarked, reaffirming her commitment to spotlighting Indian artisans on a global stage.
Nita Ambani’s appearance for the gala was a masterclass in regal fashion. She stole the spotlight in a molten gold and deep crimson silk sareewhich featured intricate traditional embroidery that shimmered under the Grand Theatre’s lights. Elevating the look further, she wore a magnificent layered statement necklace composed of oversized emeralds and rubies, paired with matching heavy earrings.
The evening was capped off with the premiere of One Sur – Voice of Indiaa grand musical production led by Shankar Mahadevanwhich served as a melodic tribute to the diversity of Indian sound. From her heartfelt words to her striking ensemble, Nita Ambani once again proved that the NMACC is not just a venue, but a living “home for the arts.”
