Gang Making Fake Aadhaar Cards Busted In Bihar

The police has busted the maker of fake Aadhaar cards and other fake certificates and documents in Tedhagachh police station area of ​​Bihar’s border Kishanganj district. In this case, the police has arrested the accused Manohar Kumar Sharma, resident of Terhagachh Baluajgir. Police claim that this is an interstate gang. Police are now talking about investigating the contacts of the intruders. Police are conducting raids to arrest other people involved in this gang.

A police official said on Saturday (April 4) that a variety of documents and materials including different Aadhaar cards in the names of 400 people, electronic devices, a laptop, a monitor, thumb scanner, fingerprint scanner, laptop charger, CPU, passbook, ATM card, caste certificate, khatian, seal of a school headmaster, and seal of a sarpanch have been recovered from the arrested accused.

According to the police officer, after receiving information about illegal making of Aadhaar card, a special team was formed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police cum Station Head, Cyber ​​Police Station, in-charge District Intelligence Unit under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer-2. In the same sequence, information was received that fake certificates were being made in a grocery shop in Terhagachh police station area. On the basis of this information, Superintendent of Police in-charge Jitendra Kumar led the team to raid the grocery shop located in Buljagir Ward Number-5.

In this sequence, a large number of electronic devices, mobile phones, Aadhar cards, PAN cards, ATM cards, bank passbooks, bank seals, Sarpanch’s letterpad, ration cards, photocopies of caste, residential, income, birth certificates and educational certificates were recovered from there.

Grocery shopkeeper Manohar Kumar Sharma was arrested in this case. It was told that the accused used to make various types of certificates from forged documents on a large scale using fake stamps and illegally make Aadhaar cards by uploading those certificates into the Aadhaar Enrollment Client software using the Aadhaar ID of another person and cloned thumb impression.
