After this revelation, there has been a stir in the education department and now a thorough investigation of the documents has been started in the entire state.
In fact, in the last few years, thousands of teachers were appointed under TRE-1, TRE-2 and TRE-3 through Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Under these recruitments, more than four thousand candidates got teacher posts. Now the educational qualifications and certificates of all these are being re-checked.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that some candidates got jobs on the basis of fake certificates. This matter is not limited to just a few individuals, rather an organized network is suspected to be active behind it. It is believed that the so-called education mafia was running this entire game, whose hold could reach the upper levels of the system.

This is not the first time that irregularities in teacher recruitment have come to light in Bihar. Between 2012 and 2015, a large number of fake teachers were caught in the appointments made on the basis of “first come, first served”. During that time many appointments were canceled and action was also taken against the people concerned.

Looking at the current situation, the Education Department is in no mood to give any relaxation. The jobs of teachers whose documents are found to be fake during investigation can be terminated. Apart from this, legal action is also being taken against the concerned candidates.

The government says that maintaining transparency in the education system is the top priority. For this reason, the verification of certificates of all the appointed teachers has been expedited, so that there is no injustice to the eligible candidates.
