Jharkhand News: On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, today (April 4) i.e. on Saturday, an important meeting was organized in the district school under the chairmanship of District Education Officer (DEO) Bhootnath Rajwan. Principals and English teachers of all the high and plus two schools of the district participated in this meeting. In the meeting, every point of the instructions given by the Deputy Commissioner was discussed in detail and all schools were instructed to implement them strictly. District School Principal Mahendra Rajhans gave detailed information on various topics in the meeting. Principals Basant Kumar and Kashinath Mahato admitted that till now no serious initiative had been taken at the administrative level on an important subject like Spoken English. But now concrete steps are being taken in this direction, which will greatly benefit the children.

In the meeting of principals and teachers, the target of bringing improvements in three months was set.

Teachers said that many students understand and can speak English, but due to lack of confidence, they hesitate and consider English difficult. In such a situation, now children will be given regular practice at school level, so that they can speak English easily. Principal Pawan Kumar Mishra said that efforts regarding spoken English will be started with immediate effect and its positive impact will be seen in the next three months.

Emphasis on strengthening career counseling

The DEO directed that the last two periods be scheduled for career counseling on the second Saturday of every month. It will be mandatory to include it in the school routine. Sudhojeet Chatterjee, teacher of Kathikund High School, said that career counseling is already happening regularly in his school. Also, free guidance will be given to the students with the help of former students and youth preparing for competitive exams. The DEO also discussed 17 points of the state level ranking and told that the district is currently at the second position. Working together with everyone, he set the target of bringing the district to first place and warned of strict action against negligence.
