PM Modi attacks opposition, says Congress spreads false narrative about films
PM Modi On Films Controversy: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on opposition parties, especially Congress, at the NDA rally held in Thiruvalla, Kerala. In his address, he alleged that the opposition continuously creates false narratives to mislead the country and tries to give political color to every issue.

During the rally, PM Modi screened three popular films ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘The Kerala Story’ And referring to ‘Dhurandhar’, he said that after the release of these films, the opposition tried to call them “false”. He said that when these films came out, some political parties raised questions on their content and tried to mislead the public. According to PM Modi, this has become a habit of the opposition.
The Prime Minister said that Congress and its allies spread wrong information on every issue. He alleged that this is not limited to films only, but the same has been done on many important national issues as well. Giving examples, he said that even on topics like Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the opposition tried to spread confusion among the public.

PM Modi said that when CAA was implemented, the opposition tried to create an atmosphere of fear in the country, but time has proved that there was no truth in these claims. Referring to UCC, he said that this system has been in force in Goa for a long time and no problem has arisen there. According to him, this example shows that sometimes wrong assumptions are made for political reasons.

The Prime Minister also said in his speech that the people of the country are now aware and know how to differentiate between right and wrong. He expressed confidence that the audience watches films intelligently and does not fall into any kind of confusion.
