‘Green Saanvi’ which is carrying LPG is about to reach the port of Gujarat. Let us tell you that till now 8 Indian flagged ships including Green Saanvi have passed safely through the Strait of Hormuz. On one hand, while Iran has completely closed the Strait of Hormuz for many countries and is targeting enemy ships, on the other hand, India’s ships being given safe passage by Iran is a big diplomatic victory for the Modi government.

It is the result of the diplomacy of the Modi government that despite the global crisis, the energy supply in India remains uninterrupted and there is no shortage of anything from LPG to petrol and diesel in the country. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on phone with Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian in which there was a discussion between the two leaders regarding Hormuz. Modi had condemned the attacks on Iran’s critical infrastructure. Modi had said that these attacks are a threat to regional stability and are disrupting global supply chains.
