Car Launch: There is going to be another big explosion in the Indian auto market. JSW MG Motor India has confirmed that its new premium SUV MG Majestor will be launched on 20 April 2026. This powerful 3-row SUV will directly compete with Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Volkswagen Tayron.
Booking started, you will be shocked to know the price
Bookings for the MG Majestor have already started with a token price of Rs 41,000. The company will reveal its price on April 20. It is estimated that its price could be between Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries are expected to begin from May 2026.
Variants and seating options
This SUV will come in four variants:
- Sharp 4X2 (7-Seater)
- Savvy 4X2 (7-Seater)
- Savvy 4X2 (6-Seater)
- Savvy 4X4 (7-Seater)
It will have 6 and 7 seat options, which make it a great option for family users.
Powerful engine and off-roading capability
MG Majestor has a 2.0 liter twin-turbo diesel engine, which generates 215 bhp power and 478Nm torque. An 8-speed automatic gearbox will be available with it. For off-roading it has:

- high ground clearance
- Water wading capacity up to 810mm
