The car (MH 15 JS 1053) was passing through Dindori road, when suddenly the driver lost control of the vehicle and the car fell into an open well located on the roadside. The car completely drowned as the well was deep and filled with water.

All 9 people in the car lost their lives in this horrific accident. It is being told that all the deceased were residents of Indore village of Dindori taluka. These include many members of the same family, due to which there is mourning in the village.

According to preliminary investigation, the driver’s loss of control is believed to be the main reason for the accident. Apart from this, the presence of open and unsafe wells on the roadside is also said to be a major reason for the accident.

As soon as information about the incident was received, local citizens and police reached the spot. However, due to darkness of night, deep water and mud, the rescue operation faced a lot of difficulties. Later, with the help of crane and hydra machine, the car was taken out and all the bodies were taken out in an operation that lasted from late night till early morning.
