Abhishek Bachchan is currently in the news for his upcoming film but he recently opened up about his experience on the red carpet. He revealed that walking the red carpet with his wife and superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a very intimidating experience for him.

Once when he was walking the red carpet with Aishwarya, he looked so upset that photographers asked him, “Sir, what did we do wrong? Why do you look so angry?” And he started apologizing. Abhishek also admitted that Aishwarya’s success made him feel insecure at times. But he said that this was not new to him. “During my parents’ time, my mother was a bigger star than my father. So it wasn’t weird. I was never taught that I should always be the lead,” he said.

Abhishek revealed that he and Aishwarya never discussed ‘who is the man of the house’. He said, “We were friends even before we got married. The second film of my career was with Aishwarya and Aishwarya is the actress with whom I have worked the most.” He explained that their friendship was very strong and the same partnership and understanding continued even after marriage. He added, “We were not in a relationship before marriage, we were just good friends. But the same partnership continued even after marriage.”

“I never thought that I would cook and you would take care of the house. It was so easy and natural between us,” he said. Abhishek said that his relationship with Aishwarya has always been one of friendship and partnership. He added, “There was never any comparison or competition in our relationship. Even after marriage, we have always worked as a team. Whether it’s the red carpet or household chores, everything happens naturally and that makes our relationship stronger.”
