Bumper salary bonus! Money will come into the pockets of central employees
New Delhi. There is good news for central employees and pensioners. The stir related to the 8th Pay Commission has now intensified and a big economic change is about to come for the employees. The Commission has invited various organizations, unions and stakeholders to give suggestions to speed up its process.
According to the information given in the Lok Sabha, the commission has been given a total of 18 months to present its report. Although the official date of implementation has not been announced yet, but going by past trends the new recommendations may come into effect from January 1, 2026, including arrears.
This means that bumper bonuses and salary increases in the pockets of central employees may soon become a reality. According to the notice issued by the Commission, the process of giving suggestions on salary, allowances and pension reforms has reached the decisive stage.
Last date for giving suggestions fixed, appointment required till 10th April
The 8th Pay Commission has clarified that organizations or unions who want to meet the visiting team of the Commission will have to take an appointment through the email manish.kr1975@nic.in by 10 April 2026. At the same time, the last date for submitting detailed suggestions or feedback on salary and pension reforms has been kept as 30 April 2026.
Feedback tour will start from Uttarakhand
The Commission has announced to start its tours from Uttarakhand. During this period the Commission team will communicate with local organizations and institutions. Information regarding the place and time of the meeting will be sent to the concerned parties separately through email. According to experts, taking input from the grassroots level will further strengthen the report of the commission. The Commission has already extended the deadline for submitting the questionnaire, so that maximum suggestions come forward.
