Major road accident in Kullu, Himachal, traveler bus fell into a ditch; 4 tourists killed, 14 injured

A painful road accident took place in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday (April 4) night. A tempo traveler loaded with tourists suddenly slipped off the road and fell into a deep gorge. In this accident, four tourists died on the spot, including two women, while 14 people were seriously injured. According to the District Disaster Management Authority, there were a total of 22 people in this vehicle, which included 20 adults and 2 children. All the tourists were returning after visiting Jalori Pass and were going towards.

Slippery due to continuous rain became the reason for the accident

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accident occurred due to heavy rain. Slippery on the road had increased due to continuous rain. While descending towards the vehicle, the driver lost his balance and the tempo traveler fell into the ditch.

18 tourists were evacuated safely

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the team of police, fire department and local administration immediately reached the spot. Relief and rescue operations were started rapidly. Local people also helped the administration in the rescue work, due to which many lives could be saved. According to the police, 18 tourists were evacuated safely, but 14 of them were injured. All the injured have been admitted to the Community Health Center for treatment. The condition of one of these persons is said to be critical.

The dead included two men and two women

The four people who lost their lives in the accident include two men and two women. The process of identification of the dead is going on. The administration has said that the exact cause of the accident is being investigated, so that such accidents can be prevented in future.

This accident once again highlights the risky conditions of travel during bad weather in hilly areas. The administration has appealed to tourists to take special precautions while traveling during rain and bad weather.
