Claim of change of power in Kerala: PM Modi said in the public meeting in Thiruvalla – NDA government will be formed on May 4.
Thiruvalla (Keralaam), April 4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Tiruvalla on Saturday, claimed that after voting on April 9, the BJP-NDA alliance will form the government in Kerala on May 4. After the meeting in Thiruvalla, PM Modi also held a grand roadshow in the capital Thiruvananthapuram.
NDA is getting wide support from women and general public
Starting his address with the slogan ‘Jai Keralam, Jai Vikasita Keralam’, PM Modi said that this time the atmosphere in Kerala has changed and the state is ready for a historic change. He said that NDA is getting wide support from women and general public.
He praised NDA candidate Anoop and described him as a dedicated and hardworking leader. He said that Anoop has been working with him for the last five years and is now ready to serve Kerala.
Targeted at LDF and UDF
Prime Minister Modi attacked LDF and UDF, saying that both the alliances have neglected Kerala for a long time. He also raised questions about bad roads, lack of bridges and the condition of medical facilities. He said that during the tenure of the Central Government, Kerala has received five times more funds than before, which has given impetus to the development of the state.
Focus on women and youth
PM Modi said that women have benefited the most from the policies of NDA. Women have been empowered through toilet construction, bank accounts, housing and Mudra scheme. Referring to the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme, he said that three crore women have already benefited from it and the target is to make three crore more.
Like North Eastern states and Goa, development of Kerala is also possible.
PM Modi said that the NDA governments in the North-Eastern states and Goa have established new dimensions of development and similar development is possible in Kerala. He said that the Sabarimala Railway Project will create new employment and business opportunities in the area. However, he alleged that the state government has created hurdles in the project.

The Prime Minister said that if the BJP-NDA government is formed in Kerala, the power of the ‘double engine’ will give a new impetus to development and the problems of farmers, fishermen and local communities will be solved.
