Aam Aadmi Party: Aam Aadmi Party’s “Rozgar Do – Social Justice Do” march against unemployment and social injustice in Uttar Pradesh received overwhelming support from the public for the third day on Sunday. Under the leadership of AAP UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, this yatra started from Suraj Farm House in Khandauli, Agra, entered the border of Hathras in the afternoon and reached Radha Krishna Marriage Hall in Sadabad for afternoon rest, after which it reached Bihari Ji Farm House in the evening.
Wherever this Padyatra passed, the blessings of the elders, the blessings of the mothers, the enthusiasm of the youth and the way the public welcomed Sanjay Singh, all of them further strengthened this “Give Employment – Give Social Justice” Padyatra.
Shared problems by stopping Sanjay Singh
The Padyatra was warmly welcomed by youth, lawyers, women and elders all the way from Agra till it entered Hathras. Flowers were showered at various places and people welcomed Sanjay Singh with open hearts by garlanding him. During this, Shikshamitra, Asha Bahuen, Anganwadi, and ready track shopkeepers stopped their leader Sanjay Singh and shared their problems with him. People joined the march raising slogans of “Give employment – give social justice”. Under the leadership of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, this march is gradually taking the form of a mass movement.
100 days employment under MNREGA…
During the Padyatra, Sanjay Singh highlighted the dire situation of unemployment in Uttar Pradesh and said that due to 65% decline in MNREGA, paper leaks in recruitments and cancellation of examinations, the employment system of the state has completely collapsed. He said that in 2025-26, the number of families completing 100 days of employment under MNREGA has decreased from 6.15 lakh to only 2.21 lakh, which is a clear evidence of the failure of the government’s policies.
Referring to the cancellation of recruitment exam…
He further said that “Giving only 58 thousand jobs on 94 lakh applications is a proof of the level of unemployment the youth of the state are facing. On top of this, incidents like paper leak are ruining the future of the youth.” Referring to the allegations of paper leak in Police Sub-Inspector recruitment in 2026, paper being sold on Telegram and cancellation of Assistant Professor recruitment examination in 2025, he accused the government of betraying the youth.
Girl raped in Barabanki, Kanpur…
Speaking on the issue of social justice, Sanjay Singh said that from Hathras to Barabanki, atrocities are being committed on Dalits, women and youth and the entire state is becoming deprived of both employment and justice. Referring to incidents like Hathras incident of 2020, rape of Dalit widow in Sahpau area, rape of a girl in Barabanki, harassment of women in Kanpur and murder of a woman during Panchayat in Gorakhpur, he said that these are not isolated incidents but the failure of the entire system. He said that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the Chief Minister of 25 crore citizens and not just the Chief Minister of any particular caste or religion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should understand this.

The government is busy spreading the poison of hatred
During this, Sanjay Singh said that the illiterate king has nothing to do with the education of your children; Even serious issues like the poor condition of hospitals, black money, falling rupee and gas crisis do not matter to the Modi government. Instead, the government is busy spreading the poison of hatred and asking the public to forget the real issues and watch “Kerala Files”, while we are saying that if the country wants to know the truth then watch “Epstein Files” – so that accountability can be fixed on real issues instead of politics of distraction.
providing employment only in statistics
Sanjay Singh said that “Dalits, women and youth – all three have become the most oppressed classes in Uttar Pradesh. There is no employment in the villages, no jobs in the cities and no justice in the society. The BJP government is providing employment only in numbers, on the ground the unemployed are standing in the queue.”
He warned the government and said that if the youth are not given immediate employment then they should be given unemployment allowance of Rs 10,000 every month, otherwise the Aam Aadmi Party will intensify the struggle from the streets to the House.

People’s movement against injustice
During this, senior AAP leader Dilip Pandey said that this padyatra on the land of Hathras is not just a political program but has become a mass movement against injustice. He said that the way public support is being received is an indication that the people of the state now want change and are ready to raise their voice openly against injustice.
Employment and social justice issues
He said that “This march of Aam Aadmi Party on the issue of employment and social justice will take the form of a big movement in the coming times and will force the BJP government to answer.
