Chennai Super Kings flew under the storm of Tim David, Royal Challengers Bangalore achieved a big win by 43 runs.

The 11th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 was played on Sunday (April 5) between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Australian star batsman Tim David, who came to bat at number 5 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, thrashed the bowlers of Chennai Super Kings. He played a stormy innings of 70 unbeaten runs with the help of 8 sixes and 3 fours in just 25 balls. During this, he also made a brilliant partnership of 99 runs for the fourth wicket with captain Rajat Patidar, which put the team in a strong position. Patidar remained unbeaten after scoring 48 runs in 19 balls.

If we talk about the rest of the batsmen, Virat Kohli scored 28 runs, while Phil Salt scored 46 runs and Devdutt Padikkal played a brilliant inning of 50 runs in 29 balls. Thanks to all these innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored a huge score of 250 runs.

Chennai Super Kings, which set out to chase the target of 251 runs, had a very poor start. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad (7), Sanju Samson (8) and Ayush Mhatre (1) were out inside the powerplay, putting the team under pressure. However, Sarfaraz Khan played a quickfire inning of 50 runs in 25 balls, while Prashant Veer showed some fight by scoring 43 runs and Jamie Overton scored 37 runs. But due to the big target, the team was limited to 207 runs in 19.4 overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar performed brilliantly in bowling for RCB and took 3 wickets. Jacob Duffy, Abhinandan Singh and Krunal Pandya took 2 wickets each, while Suyyash Sharma got 1 wicket.
