Lalitpur Pharma Hub will become global export centre, MoU signed between UPSIDA and JNPA

An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between State Industrial Development Authority (UPCIDA) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA). This agreement will play an important role in developing Lalitpur Pharma Park as a global export hub.
The MoU was signed by UPSIDA Chief Executive Officer Vijay Kiran Anand and JNPA President Gaurav Dayal. The objective of this partnership is to directly connect the industrial areas of North India with international markets.
Multimodal network will increase connectivity
Under the agreement, Lalitpur Pharma Park will be connected to the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors through the Dadri-Khurja Rail Link. This will enable fast, safe and economical transportation of medicinal products. This connectivity will deliver the products directly to JNPA port, thereby simplifying the export process.
Investment and exports will get a boost
UPSIDA CEO Vijay Kiran Anand said that this initiative will realize the vision of Yogi Adityanath, under which the state has to be made a leader in the pharma and health sector. This agreement will provide world class logistics facilities to investors and enhance their global competitiveness.
Supply chain will be strong
Under the MoU, technical and operational support will also be provided as per the needs of the pharma sector. This will lead to better coordination between industry, logistics companies and other stakeholders and make the supply chain more robust. This initiative will not only accelerate industrial growth but will also help in employment generation, investment attraction and increasing exports.
