In this project, not only the bus stand but also residential flats, government houses and commercial space will be developed. This will not only increase the facilities but will also create new sources of income. During the redevelopment, the bus stand will be temporarily shifted to another place, so that there is no interruption in the construction work.
How will the new bus stand be?
Ground Floor: There will be capacity to park 78 buses here.
Upper Ground Floor: A stand for 77 buses will be built here.
Parking Arrangement: There will be huge parking for about 1500 cars at the concourse level, so that passengers can easily park their cars and avail other public transport.
Not just a bus stand, a mini city will be built
The scope of this project is not limited to transportation only. This development work to be done on a total of 34.44 acres will have a shopping complex and food court for the passengers. Government housing and EWS flats will be constructed. The bus stand will be seamlessly connected to the railway station and Namo Bharat station, so that passengers do not have to walk.
