Sara Arjun penned special note for unsung heroes of ‘Dhurandhar’
As Dhurandhar is still making historic records with its success, Sara Arjun shared a heartfelt long note dedicated to the film’s ‘unsung heroes’.
The lead actors of the spy action thriller are getting praise from fans and celebrities, but the 20-year-old actor turned the spotlight on the crew whose efforts contributed to the film’s massive achievement.
Posting the behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, Sara began her note by recalling her first meeting with the director, writing, “The first time I ever met Aditya sir, there was a look in his eyes. I realised that he would do something special for cinema. At every single step of this journey, the sheer magnitude of that realisation revealed itself.”
She added that the peak level of detailing often goes unnoticed during the process and only truly struck her when she looked back after everything was completed and saw the large team of people working behind the scenes. She added that the post was dedicated to the “unsung heroes of Dhurandhar 1 & 2.”

The young actress then praised director Aditya Dhar, writing, “To the captain of the ship, @adityadharfilms and his direction team: the architects of our focus, who tirelessly worked to take this dream to the screen.”
The actress also acknowledged the producers and the production team, including Lokesh Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, for “weathering the storms” so the team could stand in the light. She also praised DOP Vik and the camera team for capturing both scale and soul in every frame.
Sara went on to highlight the contributions of the casting and styling teams, praising casting director Mukesh Chhabra and his team for assembling a cast that truly captured the heartbeat of the story.
She also commended costume designer Smriti Chauhan and makeup designer Preetisheel Singh, along with their teams, for weaving history into fabric and bringing characters to life through their craft, allowing the actors to fully immerse themselves in their identities.
Thanking the wider creative and technical teams, Sara acknowledged music composer and singer Shashwat, along with the lyricists, and background score team, for creating the pulse of the film. She also credited editor Shivkumar Panicker, the VFX team, and Ojas Gautam for sculpting time and pushing the limits of reality, elevating the performances on screen.
She further praised the production design team for building the film’s expansive universe from the ground up, often away from the spotlight.
The actor went on to appreciate the safety and stunt crews for risking their own safety so the actors could appear invincible on screen. She also highlighted the efforts of the lighting, sound, and spot teams, noting that they were the first to arrive and the last to leave each day.
Concluding the note, she acknowledged the countless others whose names may not be listed but whose contributions remain invaluable and impossible to overlook.
Sara wrote, “Actors get to be the faces on the poster, but you are the spine of this cinema. Let’s all applaud the sweat in the shadows just as much as the stars in the spotlight. Thank you to the entire crew of Dhurandhar. History has been made.”
Directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge released on March 19 and crossed the Rs 1,000-crore nett mark in India on April 5, its 18th day in theatres.
