Cooch Vihar, 5 April. Amidst the ever-increasing activities of political parties for the West Bengal Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Cooch Vihar on Sunday, said that no matter how much Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons scare you on the day of voting, you have to have faith in the law. Fear will run away from Bengal in this election.

PM Modi said, ‘BJP’s great victory will instill confidence… I assure you, this time after the elections, TMC’s sins will be fully accounted for. Accounts will be taken selectively. After May 4, the law will take its course, no matter who is the biggest goon, this time justice will be done.

TMC’s list of injustice is very long

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘The list of injustice of TMC is very long. Uttar Kanya is another example of their deception. When Uttar Kanya was built, it was said that it would become the center of development of the entire area, but the situation is that the money kept for it was not spent in so many years. Till now these people are busy finding ways to make commission in it. Its meaning is clear…the name is development, but the intention and priority was somewhere else.

He told the gathering that this time there is a fear of TMC in Bengal and you have the trust of BJP to counter it. On one hand there is fear of ‘cut money’ and ‘corruption’ of TMC. On the other hand, there is confidence in BJP that it will give faster pace to development. On the one hand, there is a fear of infiltration and settling of foreigners here. On the other hand, BJP is confident of stopping the infiltration and driving out all the infiltrators from Bengal.

PM Modi said, ‘On one hand, there is a fear of snatching away freedom on our own land due to changing demography. On the other hand, there is assurance of ownership of a permanent house and land. On the one hand, there are the screams of sisters like Sandeshkhali and the brutal atrocities on daughters. On the other hand, Modi’s guarantee of security, respect and empowerment to women power is there.

The money looted from the public will have to be returned to the public.

Prime Minister Modi said that the money of the people of Bengal has been looted for so many years. Every corrupt person will have to return the looted money to the public.

3 Crore sisters were made Lakhpati Didi

He further said, ‘Till now the BJP government at the Center has provided all types of basic facilities to the sisters. Three crore sisters were made Lakhpati Didi, but it is very important that the role of women increases even more in the decisions taken for the country. Therefore, our government made a law to provide 33% reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Assembly. Efforts are now being made to ensure that sisters across the country including West Bengal get its benefits from the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, the government has kept a special session of Parliament on 16, 17 and 18 April. This right of mothers and sisters has been pending for 40 years.

PM Modi said, ‘Any more delay is not right. From Cooch Vihar, I once again assure all the states of the country that those states which have done good work in population control, will not suffer any loss in terms of seats. Everyone will benefit. Participation of all states and rights of all will be protected. We want to put a firm stamp on this in the Parliament that additional seats should be increased for women so that the states get a big benefit from it.
