The case started when the girl’s husband filed a petition in the court alleging that his wife was being forcibly kept by her lover Anuj. During the hearing, the police brought the girl to the court, where her parents, husband and boyfriend were also present. In the court, the girl clearly said that she is living with her boyfriend of her own free will.

The girl also refused to go with her parents and husband. She told that there is a huge age difference between her and her husband, due to which there was no harmony in their relationship. She also accused her husband of misbehaving.

The girl was also given counseling on the instructions of the court, but she did not change her decision and remained adamant on living with her lover. Her boyfriend also assured the court that he will take full care of her and will not let her face any kind of trouble.
