‘We won the World Cup, why are we losing here…’, CSK fan upset with Sanju Samson
IPL 2026 is proving to be a nightmare for Sanju Samson, who was the hero of India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2026. The team had high expectations from Sanju, who joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after being traded from Rajasthan Royals, but he has not scored runs in the first three matches. Due to their poor performance, Chennai team has had to face defeat in three consecutive matches, due to which the disappointed fans have now started expressing their anger on social media.
Sanju Samson has been a complete flop in the three matches so far this season. He has scored only 6,7 and 9 runs in these matches. His absence from the top order of the team has become a matter of great concern for the management. Fans are surprised that the player who was destroying the world’s best bowlers in the World Cup is struggling to even touch the double figure (10 runs) in the IPL.
