Monsoon Forecast: The weather patterns across the country appear to be changing rapidly. Warnings regarding heavy rainfall have been issued for several states, while in others, storms, rain, and hailstorms have wreaked havoc. Meanwhile, rising temperatures in certain states have caused public distress. In Delhi-NCR, the heat has once again begun to trouble residents. Amidst this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Northwest India due to anticipated rain and hailstorms.

In fact, it is reported that two Western Disturbances are expected to become active in succession this week, with their impacts likely to be felt over the next 48 hours. Weather Update for Himachal
Snowfall has been observed in the high-altitude regions of Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. Crops have suffered significant damage due to hailstorms in Shimla, Kullu, and Mandi.

Bihar Weather Forecast

The Patna Meteorological Center in Bihar has issued an alert for several districts across the state due to imposing rainfall. There is also a possibility of storms and squalls during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Red Alert’ for the Gaya district. For Monday morning, the forecast indicates a likelihood of thunderstorms with lightning and rain in districts including Aurangabad, Banka, Gaya, Jehanabad, Jamui, Lakhisarai, Nalanda, Nawada, and Sheikhpura.

Due to heavy rainfall, a drop in temperature may also be observed in these districts. Strong winds and rain could damage the wheat crop, potentially resulting in significant losses for farmers.

Warning of Rain Accompanied by Hail
The IMD (India Meteorological Department) issued an ‘Orange Alert’ on Monday for the districts of Buxar, Bhojpur, Arwal, Kaimur, Rohtas, and Aurangabad. These districts may experience thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and hailstorms. Consequently, residents have been advised to remain vigilant.

Which States Will Witness Rain?

The Meteorological Department forecasts a possibility of light rain in the Kashmir Valley on April 7.
Regarding the weather in Bihar, there is a likelihood of scattered rainfall accompanied by hailstorms between April 6 and April 8.
According to the Meteorological Department, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to experience light rain and snowfall—along with thunderstorms and strong winds—on April 6.
An alert has been issued for several districts in Uttar Pradesh due to the possibility of heavy rainfall from April 6 to April 8.
Rainfall is also expected in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand on April 7 and April 8.
Light to moderate rainfall is likely in most places, including Western Rajasthan, on April 7.
Central, Eastern, and Peninsular India are expected to witness rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning until April 9.

Delhi – NCR Weather Forecast
In the Delhi-NCR region, the skies are expected to remain overcast in the coming days—specifically on April 7 and April 8—with a possibility of light to moderate rainfall.
