A speeding car entered the Delhi Assembly premises and broke the barrier and ran away. The driver tried to force his way inside and broke the security barrier. The security personnel immediately stopped the car.
There is a stir in the entire area after the car incident. Security forces took immediate action. Now the situation is under control. Security has been increased on the campus. Police are investigating how the driver entered. Now questions are being raised on the security arrangements of the Assembly.

The person who intruded into the assembly was wearing a mask on his face. He moved ahead, breaking the iron gate with the car.
What has been known so far?
The driver had come wearing a mask on his face. He broke the boundary gate and drove the car inside. The officer present on the spot has told that this car with UP registration number had entered from Gate No. 2 at around 2 pm.
A Delhi Secretariat official said, ‘The driver proceeded towards Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta’s office and placed a bouquet of flowers near the verandah before going back.’

Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha has reached the spot of the incident. The car had the registration number of UP. Delhi Police has arrested the accused and recovered the car.
