Big blow to Iran, IRGC intelligence chief Majid Khademi killed in US-Israel attack
Tehran. Major General Majid Khadimi, head of the intelligence organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been killed in a US-Israeli attack. The IRGC confirmed this in a statement on Monday, saying, “Majid Khademi, the head of the IRGC’s intelligence organization, was killed in an American-Zionist attack this morning.”
It is noteworthy that since February 28, America and Israel have been attacking various targets of Iran. On the first day of the conflict, a girls’ school in southern Iran was also attacked and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was also killed. According to reports, so far more than 1,300 civilians have died in these attacks and more than 20,000 people have been injured.
In response, Iran is attacking Israeli territory and US military bases in West Asia. The tensions have almost halted traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for oil and liquefied natural gas supplies from Gulf countries to global markets. Due to this, increase in fuel prices is being seen in many countries.
