Siddharthnagar. National Highway 730 is passing through the limits of Nagar Panchayat Usa Bazar, in which the councilors have demanded construction of a culvert for drainage near Kanshiram Nagar Ward. The councilors have given this related application to the DM.
Councilors of the wards affected by this, Kashiram Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Ramnagar Krishna Nagar etc. say that the interlocking road here connects the wards including schools, election booths. The culvert is not being constructed on the National Highway which is being constructed adjacent to it.
Due to this, the citizens of these wards will be forced to face the problem of water logging and drainage of water from their houses during the rainy season. Apart from this, hundreds of bighas of crops will also be affected by the problem of water logging and there will be a strong possibility of spread of water borne infectious disease among the people.
