The ongoing war in the Middle East is about to complete 38 days and during this time the President of America is continuously in the news for his statements. On April 5, he had warned Iran that if Hormuz was not opened, the situation would be made like ‘hell’. The very next day, on April 6, during a press conference at the White House, Trump gave another strong statement. In the press conference, Trump said, “The entire country can be destroyed in one night, and that night can happen tomorrow.” His statement has further increased the tension at the global level.
He further said, ‘We are gathered here today to celebrate the success of the largest, most complex and riskiest combat rescue operation ever undertaken by the Army… You send 200 soldiers to rescue just one person, and this is an operation that is not done as often as you want to do… We had the cooperation of many people, very wonderful people. It was an honor for us to be a part of it. This is very historical. This is a rescue that will go down in history… an entire country can be wiped out in one night, and that night can happen tomorrow.
US President Donald Trump said in a statement that ‘As you know, we did not discuss anything about the first operation for an hour. Then someone leaked the information, and we hope that the leaker will be caught soon. Because of that leak, the operation became very difficult, because the news came out that we have rescued one person, but there is another person who is being tried to be rescued.
He further said that ‘the person who published this news will have to go to jail if he does not reveal the source, and this will not last long… This leak put the life of that person in grave danger, and also of the hundreds of people who were engaged in the mission to save him.’
