Mumbai, 06 April 2026: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Fuel and of LPG Ensuring uninterrupted supply.
HPCL reported nozzle sales of 132.81 TMT Petrol (MS) and 277.64 TMT Diesel (HSD) during the period 1-5 April 2026, indicating stable consumption patterns and consistent availability of products across its extensive retail network. To support this, 30,994 tankers carrying MS, HSD and PDS SKO were dispatched, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to all sectors.
In the LPG segment, HPCL delivered 62.83 lakh cylinders during the period 1 to 5 April 2026, reiterating its commitment to reliable and prompt service while maintaining normal levels of supply. The company supplied 1,05,183 free trade LPG cylinders of 5 kg and 10,187 cylinders of 2 kg, increasing the reach of the latter and meeting the energy needs of migrant workers and economically weaker sections.
Digital platforms are seen to be widely used for LPG booking. On April 5, 2026, 96.4 percent of bookings were made through channels like IVRS, SMS, Miss Call, HP Pay and WhatsApp. Delivery is secured through DAC / OTP based authentication to ensure transparency and secure delivery to customers.

The company is proactively working to address customer issues and ensure prompt resolution through its digital platform, web portal and toll-free services.
Strengthening its commitment towards transparency and consumer protection, HPCL has intensified its monitoring and enforcement mechanisms in the LPG distribution network. Between March 14 and April 5, 2026, the company conducted 4,110 inspections and took action against 55 distributors, including the suspension of 22 distributors. In coordination with other oil marketing companies and state authorities, 656 raids were conducted, 40 FIRs were registered and 3,163 LPG cylinders were seized.
HPCL reiterates that LPG supply is stable and adequate and there is no shortage across the network. Customers are advised to book refills as per requirement, avoid unnecessary stock and trust only official communication channels for accurate information. The company is committed to a ‘Customer First’ approach, ensuring uninterrupted availability, constant monitoring and strict action against any anomalies in the distribution network.
