Lucknow. There is big news for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. Excise constable recruitment has been announced for 722 posts in the state. This opportunity is for candidates who have completed Intermediate and have qualified the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025).
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the advertisement of main examination for these posts. The online application process will start from June 4 and will continue till June 24. During this period, candidates will also be able to deposit the examination fee along with the application.
Application and Fees
The last date for amendment in the application or adjustment of fees has been set as July 1. Only those candidates whose PET-2025 score card has been issued will be able to appear in the main examination. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of score. The application fee for all categories has been kept at Rs 25.
Exam Pattern and Subjects
The main examination will have multiple choice questions of 100 marks. The subjects covered in the examination include History, Geography, Politics, General Science, Current Affairs, Excise Policies of Uttar Pradesh, Basic Knowledge of Computer and Information Technology and General Knowledge related to the state.

Interested candidates can check detailed information about physical efficiency and other rules on the website of the Commission. The candidates selected through this recruitment will serve in the Excise Department of the state and contribute to the development of the state.
