“I am going to meet PM Modi…” The accused in the Delhi Assembly security lapse case, ‘Sarabjit’ had come out of the house saying this;

Delhi News: The incident of breaking into the security of Delhi Assembly has created a stir from the capital to Uttar Pradesh. Investigation has revealed that the number of the car in which this incident was carried out belongs to Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh and the driver has been identified as Sarabjit Singh. After this revelation, police and security agencies have become active not only in Delhi but also in Pilibhit.

Sarabjit’s family has shared many important information regarding the case, which is helping in understanding the circumstances behind this incident. It is being told that he had left the house saying that he was going to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Family told about mental condition

According to Sarabjit’s brother Avtar Singh, Sarabjit’s mental condition has not been good for some time and he is being treated in a hospital in Shahjahanpur. He told that every year between February and May his condition worsens due to which he starts behaving abnormally. The family says that during this time he speaks rudely, gets angry and sometimes even uses abusive words. In such a situation, the family is linking his action of going to the capital Delhi to reach the Legislative Assembly with his deteriorating mental condition.

Had left the house saying that he would meet the PM.

According to family members, Sarabjit had left the house saying that he was going to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Recently, he had also gone to Anandpur Sahib in Punjab in search of his nephew Jaideep and another relative Harmantdeep and left the house without informing. In the last conversation three days ago, he had told that he was going to Chandigarh and was also talking about meeting someone.

Police investigation continues, family is cooperating

After the incident, the local police reached Sarabjit’s house in Pilibhit and interrogated the family members. The family has promised to extend full cooperation in the investigation and made it clear that the truth should come out. At present, information has come to light that Sarabjit is in police custody in Delhi. Investigation of the entire matter is going on and security agencies are trying to find out how he reached the assembly premises despite such tight security arrangements.
