3 conditions for Afghanistan in Chinese mediation Pakistan, disgruntled Taliban, learnable peace meeting

The peace meeting between Pakistan and Afghanistan is going to be bogus again under the mediation of China. Pakistan has given three conditions to Afghanistan to resolve the ongoing conflict between the two countries on the Durand Line. However, the Taliban is unwilling to accept that condition. As a result of which the peace meeting of the two countries is going to start again. Recently this has been reported by media sources.

After the failed meeting between Pakistan and Afghanistan in December last year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The peace talks started in Urumqi, the capital of China’s Xinjiang province, on Thursday last week. In this Chinese-mediated meeting, Afghanistan was given three conditions by Pakistan. Where it is said, Pakistan should officially declare Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP, which is carrying out terrorist activities on Pakistani soil, as a terrorist organization. Secondly, TTP must be completely destroyed from the soil of Afghanistan. And thirdly, the Taliban have to produce proper evidence that they are taking action against the TTP.

From the beginning, Afghanistan has claimed that the TTP is Pakistan’s internal affairs and cannot be blamed on Afghanistan.

Although Afghanistan has claimed from the beginning that the TTP is Pakistan’s internal affairs, its responsibility cannot be placed on Afghanistan. And the Taliban has also rejected Pakistan’s allegations that the TTP is using Afghan soil to carry out its activities. Rather, Afghanistan claims that Pakistan is killing civilians by carrying out airstrikes in Afghanistan completely illegally. In this situation, the peace meeting between the two countries is a learning curve.

It should be noted that on February 21, Pakistan bombed several provinces of Afghanistan. Many civilians died in that attack. Pakistan Army, however, claims that they destroyed the base of TTP in this operation. In turn, the Taliban accused of killing innocent villagers, hospitals and educational institutions were also destroyed. Since this incident, the two countries have had frequent clashes on the Durand Line. The two countries have clashed at least 53 places along the more than 2600 km long Durand Line.
