Instructions to speed up ‘Hariyalo Rajasthan’ campaign, Chief Minister reviewed plantation targets

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a review meeting in the Chief Minister’s Office regarding the plantation targets set for monsoon 2026 and the effective implementation of Sandalwood Forest, Namo Forest and Namo Nursery schemes.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed on strengthening the ‘Hariyalo Rajasthan’ campaign as a mass movement. He directed the officials to ensure timely completion of all the targets of plantation and strictly follow the quality standards.

The Chief Minister directed to give priority to plantation, especially on railway premises, roadsides and pasture lands, so that maximum green area can be developed.

Along with this, he also stressed on the conservation and promotion of planted plants. He clearly said that responsibility should be fixed at every level and regular monitoring should be ensured, so that the planted plants can have better development.

The Chief Minister said that through these efforts the goal of sustainable, green and environmentally balanced development in the state can be achieved.
