Vijay Patwardhan and Mugdha Karnik’s ‘Chemistry’
Vijay Patwardhan and Mugdha Karnik, who have reached the household due to the serial ‘Paru’ on ‘Zee Marathi’, are the main attraction of this drama. Actor Vijay Patwardhan says, “Carry on SPYgiri is my 58th professional drama. In this drama, Mugdha Karnik and I will be working together once again. Basically, Mugdha and my Gatti came together from the drama ‘Gholat Ghol’. As we have a perfect idea of each other’s work style and ‘timing’, the audience will get to see our same easy chemistry in ‘Carry on SPYgiri’. There is a difference between a serial and a drama; The audience of the drama is completely in front of you, it is the real skill of a drama. Comedy drama is the best entertainment in today’s tense life. Working with Bharat sir in the drama ‘Carry on SPYgiri’ is amazing and his style of ‘black humor’ will definitely make the audience laugh.
Actress Mugdha Karnik says, “Marathi theater is having a good day and this play is ready to make the audience laugh. Vijay and I have been together for the last two years because of the serial ‘Paru’, which also benefited from the rehearsals of the play. However, our characters in the serial and the characters in this play are completely opposite to each other. The play has been given a Dabholkari ‘pattern’ and the play is still open. Bharat sir’s way of working is very studious. And the ‘political commentary’ in his writing gives a different height to the play. We are learning a lot from him during the rehearsals of the play.”
