Netflix to livestream historic lunar mission Artemis II

Netflix is scheduled to livestream one of the biggest space events of the century.

The streaming platform will make it possible for the viewers worldwide to view the historic luner mission of NASA’s Artemis II as it flies by the moon.

The crew, that was launched on April 1, is due to fly by the moon on April 6 at 6:45 PM GMT.

The livestream will show the Orion spacecraft approaching the moon before heading back to the Earth.

The spacecraft carrying the crew launched from Florida on Wednesday to go on a historic trip after 50 long years of Apollo 17.

The ten-day mission involves NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.

It is the the first crewed mission beyond low Earth orbit since December 1972.

This mission is a major milestone in NASA’s attempt to explore the lunar orbit and its surface long after the Apollo missions which brought human steps to moon.
