He donated a total of ₹6 crore to both the temples and committed ₹12 crore for the extensive renovation of the Rajarajeshwaram temple.

Anant Ambani donated ₹3 crore to the ancient Rajarajeshwaram temple located in Taliparamba town in Kannur district of north Kerala. He will donate an additional ₹12 crore for the extensive renovation of the temple. The plan also includes reconstruction of the historic East Gopuram of the temple, which was in a dilapidated condition for a long time. Besides, the infrastructure and parking system will be improved for the convenience of the devotees.

After this, Anant Ambani visited the famous Guruvayur temple located in Thrissur district of central Kerala and donated ₹3 crore to the temple trust. He also talked about supporting initiatives to develop hospitals, unchained shelters and modern care facilities for the welfare of elephants associated with temple traditions.

These initiatives include plans to develop dedicated hospitals, chain-free shelters and modern care facilities for elephants to ensure humane and scientific care of the animals along with traditional arrangements. This initiative is considered to be a part of Anant Ambani’s wider efforts related to his wildlife conservation project ‘Vantara’.

On the spot, the temple administration welcomed him with traditional honours. Devaswom Board officials and priests of both the temples were present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Anant Ambani said that India’s spiritual traditions are not just places of worship, but living institutions connecting society, nature and compassion. He said that it is a collective responsibility to preserve this heritage for the coming generations.
