Heinrich Klaasen told- What is it? Sunrisers Hyderabad’s gameplan in the upcoming matches

IPL 2026: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s start in the IPL has not been as expected, but the team’s star batsman Heinrich Klaasen is confident that the team will bounce back soon. After one win and two losses in three matches, Klaasen admitted that the team’s batting is not quite clicking yet. He says that the team is scoring around 40 runs less in every match and only if the score is 220-230, the bowlers will be able to save the match.

Klaasen clearly said that the bowlers, especially the fast bowlers, are performing well, but fielding has emerged as a major weakness for the team. “We have to catch up and improve in all three departments,” he said. He gave himself 6 out of 10 on the team’s performance and admitted that SRH played well on some occasions but missed the mark at crucial times.

Klaasen, who retired from international cricket last year, has been in excellent form this season. He has scored half-centuries in two consecutive matches and seemed satisfied with his form. Regarding the role of number-4 in the batting order, he said that this is his favorite position and he tries to adapt himself according to the conditions, whether Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma or Travis Head are playing well.

However, the team is missing its captain Pat Cummins, who is out due to injury. Despite this, Klaasen believes that the team is balanced and will soon get back into rhythm. Sunrisers Hyderabad will now play their next match against Punjab Kings on Saturday.
