Akhil Gogoi’s big claim amid Assam elections, people will change power; BJP’s defeat is certain

Akhil Gogoi Claim on Assam Election Results: Amid voting on Thursday for the 126-seat assembly of Assam, Raiser Party President Akhil Gogoi made a big claim about political change in the state. He said that the wave of change is clearly visible in the state and the people will oust the ruling BJP government from power.

Speaking to the media, Gogoi said that there is huge resentment among the people towards the present government. He said, “There is a strong atmosphere of change in Assam. The public is not happy with the BJP government and is ready to bring in a new government. It is certain that the BJP will be voted out of power and the opposition will form the government.”

Akhil Gogoi expressed confidence about his victory

Akhil Gogoi, candidate from Sivasagar seat, also expressed confidence about his victory. He said, “I will win from Sivasagar by a margin of more than 50,000 votes. The desire for change among the people is clearly visible, which is visible in the voting and enthusiasm.” Gogoi praised and congratulated the voters for participating enthusiastically in the democratic process.

Akhil Gogoi also mentioned the violence caused by voting

Referring to the incident of violence that took place a day before voting, he alleged that Bidyut Saikia, Assam general secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), was attacked in Sivasagar. According to Gogoi, Saikia is being treated at Dibrugarh Medical College and Hospital. He appealed to the Chief Minister of the state Himanta Biswa Sarma to maintain peace and said that a situation of tension may arise during the political change.

Akhil Gogoi described himself as the most active MLA

Referring to his political experience, Gogoi described himself as one of the most active MLAs of Assam. He also accused his rival candidate of having a criminal background, although this has not been officially confirmed. There has been a seat sharing agreement between the Raiser party and the Congress, under which the Congress has left 11 seats for the Raiser party. However, competition is also being seen between the two parties on two seats.
