Mukul Chaudhary snatched victory from the jaws of KKR, in a thrilling match Lucknow defeated Kolkata by 3 wickets.

KKR vs LSG IPL 2026 15th Match Highlight: The 15th match of IPL 2026 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at the historic cricket stadium Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In this match LSG defeated KKR by 3 wickets. This match was very exciting. At one time it seemed that Kolkata would easily win this match, but then a storm in the name of Mukul Chaudhir came at Eden Gardens and they snatched the match from KKR and handed it to Lucknow Super Giants.

Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant had won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders set a target of 182 runs for LSG. Lankan Super Giants achieved the score given by KKR at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Mukul Chaudhary showed his deadly batting to the world

The hero of this victory for Lucknow Super Giants was 21-year-old batsman Mukul Chaudhary. He came to bat at a time when a deadly batsman like Nicholas Pooran had returned to the pavilion. After this Ayush Badoni also got out after scoring fifty. In such a situation, everyone felt that KKR would easily win this match, but Mukul Chaudhary had something else in his mind.

Mukul and Ayush hit fifty

He gave victory to Lucknow Super Giants by batting lethally in this seemingly difficult match. Mukul Chaudhary played an inning of 54 runs in 27 balls with a strike rate of 200. His innings included 7 skyscraper sixes and 2 fours. Apart from this, Ayush Badoni also played a half-century for LSG. He scored 54 runs with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Whereas, Aiden Markran 22, Mitchell Marsh 15, captain Rishabh Pant 10 and Nicholas Pooran played short innings of 13 runs. Vaibhav Arora and Anukul Roy took 2-2 wickets for Kolkata Knight Riders. Whereas, Sunil Narine, Karthik Tyagi and Cameron Green got 1 wicket each.

Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 181 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. The team had a good start, but due to the fall of some important wickets in the middle overs, the run pace slowed down a bit. Despite this, the batsmen showed speed in the last overs and took the team to a strong score.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 45 runs

For Kolkata, Angkrish Raghuvanshi batted brilliantly and scored 45 runs and played an important role in managing the team. Whereas captain Ajinkya Rahane played a useful inning of 41 runs. Apart from these two, Cameron Green scored 32 runs, while Rovman Powell returned unbeaten after scoring 39 runs, due to which the team was successful in crossing 180.

Performance of KKR bowlers

Lucknow Super Giants saw a balanced performance in bowling. Prince Yadav, M Sidardh, Digvesh Rathi and Avesh Khan took one wicket each. Although no bowler could take many wickets, everyone together tried to control the run rate.
